Are you overwhelmed by your iPhone’s notifications? Do you find yourself losing track of conversations and important alerts due to excessive clutter? Don’t bother digging through your settings to disable the annoying notifications, because there’s an easy way to control these alerts — right from Notification Center itself.
Notifications are great, however, the disadvantage of being connected all the time is that you may be overwhelmed with the number of notifications you receive on a daily basis. Notifications can be helpful, however, sometimes they can get in the way of whatever you’re doing, or they can disrupt you when you are doing something productive on your iPhone.

Essentially, managing notifications is an integral part of dealing with your iPhone on a daily basis and also a way to keep that long list of notifications in your Notification Center in control. Here are easy instructions on how to turn off notifications on youriPhone without digging through settings:

how to disable annoying iPhone notifications without digging through Settings

Start by choosing a notification or notification group whose app you’d like to stop from sending notifications. Now, swipe left on that notification, then tap “Manage.” Alternatively, you can long-press on a single notification card, then tap the ellipsis (•••) icon.

On the pop-up action sheet, choose “Turn Off,” option then “Turn Off All Notifications.” All notifications for that particular app will disappear from Notification Center, which, if anything like my News notifications, will result in a cleaner experience.

The feature was first introduced in iOS 12 and its known asInstant Tuning, and it does more than just disable notifications completely. You can also choose to have notifications delivered quietly, a good compromise in case you don’t want to miss alerts from an app but don’t want your iPhone to interrupt you with text tones and vibrations.
Hooray! You have disabled annoying iPhone notifications without digging through settings. Feel free to share this article with all of your friends so they can learn how to quickly disable annoying iPhone notifications without digging through settings.
