Create group chats in WhatsApp – how it works
WhileiMessage is of course a simple solution for chats and groups, WhatsApp has the advantage that it also works across Android platforms. Nobody will be excluded from the group chat. Creating a group is very easy.
To do this, open WhatsApp on the iPhone and select the “Chats” tab. Now tap the icon to create a new chat in the top right and select the “New Group” option. Up to 256 people can be selected from the contact list, who can be invited to the group. Then you enter a group name and set a profile photo. Finally, tap on “Create”.
Notify all friends without a group – that’s how it works in WhatsApp
If, on the other hand, you don’t want to create a group, but want to consider several individual contacts with the same message, for example to inform about a new number, the broadcast function can be a practical alternative. This means that the chats remain independent of each other and there are no annoying misunderstandings because suddenly there are unknown people in a group.
To use the feature, open WhatsApp and tap on “Broadcasts” in the “Chats” tab at the top left. Then select “New List” before you finally check contacts that should receive the message. Then tap on “Create”. It is important to note that this only works for 256 contacts and they only receive the messages sent via broadcast if you are in their contact list. You can then use the feature to send messages to several people at the same time who do not learn anything from each other. Read also30+ amazing iPhone tips and tricks
