Want to measure your height or a person height using your iPhone? Well. You can use the Measure app on iPhone to instantly measure a person’s height from the floor to the top of their head, hair, or hat. You can also measure the height of a person even the person is sitting on a chair.

How to measure a person height using iPhone 12 Pro

Here are the steps which you can follow to measure person’s height using the Measure app on iPhone:

  1. Ask the person to stand in front of a wall and ensure the person is appearing on the Display from head to toe.
  2. After a few seconds, you will see a line above the head of the person that shows the height of that person.
  3. if you want to capture a pic of the measurement, simply press the white circular button located at the bottom right side of the Display.
  4. To save the Image, simply tap the screenshot located at the lower-left corner, tap Done, then choose Save to Photos or Save to Files.

You can easily access and share the height measurement image from Photos or Files on iPhone at any time.

To take the measurement again, simply turn iPhone away briefly to reset the height.

What makes this LiDAR sensor stand out is that it creates a 3D map of a scene that gives accurate results. While there are a ton of apps you can download in the AppStore that claims to measure with precision, they use camera data for measurement (which is not accurate such as the measurement of LiDAR scanner).
