Mail app completely from all inboxes - Next, tap on the “Edit” button located at the top right-hand corner of Mail app
- Next on, tap “Select All” located at the top left-hand corner of the mail app.
- Tap on “Trash” button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Finally, confirm that you want to delete all emails by tapping “Trash All”
There you go! all emails are in the Trash of the iPhone or iPad.
Now the Mail app will have no single emails in it, Your inbox should be empty (unless you receive new mails to your inbox), as every single email in the specified mailbox
or all inbox will have been deleted and removed.
In some situations, you may be able to recover Trashed emails, but there are higher chances that the emails will have been totally
deleted, trashed, and will be unrecoverable, leading to permanent removal of the emails, which is the primary aim of this guide.
Keep in mind, this will only remove all emails and mail content from the iPhone or iPad within Mail app, however, it does not remove the email accounts themselves.
It’s worth pointing out that this feature has been in existent for a while now but it has changed over time, for instant, there has been a Trash All option
directly without having to select all emails.
