How to bookmark a website in Safari on iPhone

You can bookmark a website, add a website to Favorites, or add a website icon to the Home Screen to easily revisit it later.

You can create a new folder, move a bookmark into a folder, rename a bookmark, and reorder bookmarks. And if Safari is turned on in iCloud settings on your Mac and you’re signed in to the same Apple Account, you can see your Mac bookmarks on iPhone too.

Here’s how to bookmark a website in Safari on iPhone.

Bookmark a favorite website

  1. Start the Safari app on your iPhone.
  2. Open the webpage you want to bookmark.
  3. Tap the Page Menu button, tap Add Bookmark to, choose a location, and tap Save.

If your Tabs layout is Bottom or Top, touch and hold the Show Bookmarks button, then tap Add Bookmark.
