You can send a poll in any iMessage conversation to decide what to eat, which movie to see, where to travel, when to meet, and more. Everyone in the conversation can contribute options and watch as votes come in.
Anyone in a poll can add other options, no matter who started it, and options are added without votes. You can also quickly create a suggested poll, and vote in a poll.
Note: To start, see, or vote in a poll, you need iMessage on one of these or later: iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, or visionOS 26.

Start a poll
- Go to the Messages app on your iPad.
- In a conversation, tap the Add button, then tap Polls.
