During a video call in the FaceTime app, you can turn on Live Captions to see the spoken conversation transcribed and displayed in real time. On an iPad with Apple Intelligence, you can turn on Live Translation to see the other person’s words translated from their language to your preferred language and displayed on your screen as they speak.
Live Captions can make it easier to follow along if you’re having difficulty hearing the conversation, and Live Translation works with languages you download.
