Here are some of the common reasons why your iPhone 12, iPhone 12 pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max is overheating and how to fix the issue:

Take Your iPhone 12 Out of the Sun To Prevent Overheating

The most obvious reason that your iPhone 12 could feel warm to the touch is if you have left it out in the sun for too long. The time this is most likely to happen would be the warmer months of the year. Maybe you’ve simply left the device sitting on a windowsill, and the midday sun is shining straight down on it for hours at a time, this can cause iPhone 12 overheating problem.

Any less and fast charging doesn’t appear to work — although there is more than meets the eye to that situation. What about charging with MagSafe?
